On KBS2’s May 21st broadcast Problematic child at homeBIBI appeared as a guest alongside comedian Yang Sang-kook and talked about her close relationship with agency bosses Tiger JK and Yoon Mi-rae.
BIBI said she was first discovered while promoting herself in the underground music scene. “Early on I was active in the underground scene, and Tiger JK and Tasha Unnie continue to be interested in music,” he explained. “They heard my music on SoundCloud and asked to meet me.”
He continued, “At first, since I never showed my face online, they were planning to hire me as a topliner (songwriter). But after meeting me, they thought I had a unique character and could do well as a singer as well.”
BIBI also revisited a past dream he once spoke about publicly: building a corporate headquarters for his agency. He proudly revealed that the dream is becoming a reality.
“We are building the company building now,” he said, adding that the new office will be three stories tall.
When asked why she had such a goal, BIBI responded warmly: “I just liked the idea. Now it really feels like family.”
The conversation naturally turned to how much BIBI’s explosive popularity contributed to the new construction project, especially after the viral success of “Bam Yang Gang.”
Host Kim Sook commented, “’Bam Yang Gang’ was a huge hit,” while Yang Sang-kook jokingly guessed, “You probably paid for at least two floors.”

BIBI replied shyly, “Maybe 60%?”
The singer also revealed another personal dream: to treat her staff better during overseas programs. “Even if it’s not everyone, I want to travel with me in business class for key staff members” BIBI shared.
As BIBI continues to solidify her status as one of Korea’s most distinctive solo artists, her comments offer a glimpse into the close bond she shares with Tiger JK and Yoon Mi-rae. With a successful career, growing influence in music and even building a new agency underway, fans now celebrate not only BIBI’s achievements but also the loyalty and family relationship behind her rise.
