On the May 9 broadcast of the MBC variety show The director (Omniscient interfering vision), Lee Yeon appeared as a guest and talked about her experiences working in the entertainment industry.
During the episode, comedian Hong Hyun-hee suddenly asked Lee Yeon the question that many viewers were curious about: “Is Woo Seok really that handsome in real life?”
Without hesitation, Lee Yeon immediately replied, “It’s really nice.”
He then shocked the cast by talking about Byeon Woo Seok’s overwhelming height and proportions.
Lee Yeon explained, “He’s really so tall that every time I meet him I ask him, ‘Honestly, aren’t you more than 6 feet tall?’ He seems to get taller every time I see him. The height difference seems so unfamiliar.
His comments immediately drew laughter in the studio.
Host Song Eun-i noticed Yoo Byung-jae and Yang Se-hyung’s suddenly intimidated reactions, jokingly asking because the two seemed discouraged after hearing about Byeon Woo Seok’s proportions.
