Soyou shared that she is planning to move out of her luxurious mansion in Hannam-dong, which reportedly has a monthly rent of KRW 13 million. He explained that he could not reveal his new address, saying: “Recently, a sasaeng fan came to my house. They came right up to my front door, and it was really scary.”
He continued to recount the incident: “Luckily, I was with a friend at the time. That person asked me, ‘Is this Jihyun’s house?’ I saw their faces and didn’t recognize them. My friend replied, “Jihyun?” and then that person said, “Oh, isn’t this Soyou’s house?” I kept saying, “So what about you?” and finally they said, “Oh, I must have screwed up.” I’m sorry.’”
After the meeting, Soyou immediately contacted security. “I called the security office and asked if anyone had entered the building. They said no one had entered. I thought they had come on foot, but it turned out they had arrived by car and parked in another building. Since they didn’t know exactly what my unit was, they went around asking people if it was my house.” he explained.
He added that the incident left a lasting impact: “Since then, even when I don’t order anything, if the doorbell rings I get anxious. It’s become a kind of trauma. That’s why I can’t reveal where I’ll go next.”
