A woman who claims she suffered domestic abuse from a man known as the older brother of a popular girl group member has released a marriage registration document to support her allegations.
Recently, the woman, referred to as A, posted on social media, writing: “Please don’t say I’m lying” together with the photo of the official marriage registration receipt.
The document shows that their marriage was registered at the Seocho District Office in Seoul on July 9, 2025. Through this, A emphasized that they were legally married and claimed that the abuse started after the registration. The document also indicates that she is 14 years younger than her husband.
Previously, A had already accused the man of subjecting her to long-term physical abuse and gaslighting during their relationship.
He stated, “I did everything he told me, and yet I was still beaten. When I said I couldn’t breathe and I couldn’t live like this, he said, ‘Are you asking for a divorce?’ and then hit me like crazy. He hit me for not saying “I love you” and even forced me to kneel down and apologize.” He added, “When I ran away to my parents’ house out of fear, he shocked me by saying that it was my fault for leaving my husband, which made me go back. Recently he even came to my family’s house, leaving my family in fear.”

A also released what appear to be hospital documents as evidence. The documents include a note stating: “In November 2025, after being attacked by my retired husband, I returned home and called 911 while confined.” Records reportedly list symptoms such as headache and bruising on his right leg and hand.
On social media, One more shared, “When we first met, I was bright and cheerful, but after registering the marriage, my expression became gloomy and I barely spoke. I even had bandages all over my arms.” She also clarified that she only later discovered that her husband was the older brother of a famous girl group member, drawing a clear line between her accusations and her famous brother.
