As reported on April 1, the production team behind Beyond the Bar is currently in discussions regarding Season 2. Production company SLL said, “Season 2 is in discussion, but details such as the schedule and cast have not yet been confirmed.”
The series stars Lee Jin-wook as lawyer Yoon Seok-hoon, an elite but cold partner, along with Jung Chae-yeon as novice lawyer Kang Hyo-min, passionate about justice but inexperienced in workplace dynamics. Together with co-stars Lee Hak-joo and Jeon Hye-bin, the drama chronicled the lives of four lawyers on a litigation team, blending realistic court cases with emotional storytelling.
Airing from August to September last year, Beyond the Bar received praise for its fresh perspective on legal cases, focusing not only on justice but also on relationships, personal scars and character growth. The drama recorded a peak nationwide rating of 9.1%, reflecting its popularity among viewers.
