The world famous K-pop awards ceremony, MAMA Awardshas officially announced its 2026 schedule and venue, reaffirming its status as one of the most influential music events in the industry.
Organized by CJ ENM, the MAMA Awards 2026 will be held over two days, November 20th and 21st, at the iconic Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan. The event will also be broadcast live worldwide across digital platforms including Mnet Plus, allowing fans around the world to participate in real-time.
Since its inception in 1999 as Video music awardsthe ceremony evolved into a major pan-Asian music event in 2009 and subsequently rebranded in 2022 to strengthen its global identity. Over the course of nearly three decades, the MAMA Awards have consistently showcased cutting-edge performances and set new standards for K-pop production on an international scale.
The 2026 edition promises another leap forward. Under the central theme “Music makes ONE”, organizers are preparing a wide range of on-site and digital experiences designed to unite global fandoms.
