YG Entertainment officially announced on March 16 that BABYMONSTER will embark on their second world tour, which will span five continents and begin in June 2026, a bigger undertaking than the group’s debut tour.
The tour will begin in Seoul, South Korea, before moving to six cities in Japan: Kobe, Fukuoka, Yokohama, Chiba, Nagoya and Osaka. Beyond Asia, BABYMONSTER will expand their performances to North America, South America, Europe and Oceania, with the latter three marking the group’s first-ever visit to those regions since their debut.
Additional cities and specific dates for those continents have not yet been released, but will be announced in the near future, according to YG, according to allkpop.
The announcement precedes that of the group’s third mini-album, CHOOMscheduled for early May 2026. Chief producer Yang Hyun-suk described the record as “a BABYMONSTER album you’ve never heard before”, with the title track CHOOMmeaning “dance” in Korean, set as the first pre-release single.
A second single mini-album is also planned before the start of the world tour. Later in the year, the group will also release a full studio album in October 2026, Caravan reported.
The 2026-27 world tour is billed as a big step forward from BABYMONSTER’s debut, “HELLO MONSTERS” world tour, which covered 20 cities and 32 shows and attracted a total audience of 300,000 people from January 2025 onwards.
The new tour is expected to be staged on a significantly larger scale, with YG confirming that both the group and the production team are preparing a “more dynamic and updated stage” for fans around the world.
In a statement released along with the tour announcement, a YG representative said, “Thanks to the support of our fans, we are organizing our second world tour faster than expected.” The agency added that all artists and staff are working to deliver better performances for MONSTIEZ, the official name of BABYMONSTER’s fanbase, worldwide.
Fan club pre-sales for BABYMONSTER events are available via MONSTIEZ MEMBERSHIP (GLOBAL) on Weverse, the group’s official fan platform. Members wishing to participate in pre-sales must complete membership registration during the registration period indicated on the ticketing page.
This system has been used for previous BABYMONSTER events, including the “LOVE MONSTERS” Asia Fan Concert, which took place from late 2025 to early 2026 in six Asian cities across 12 shows.
The announcement of the 2026-27 world tour sparked immediate excitement from international fans, with reactions already growing on social media as more cities and dates are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks, as per chosun.
