Oscar 2026: list of all winners announced!

The 98th Academy Awards took place on the morning of March 15 (KST) at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, United States. Conan O’Brien returned as host of this year’s ceremony. Compared to last year, the 98th Oscars were considered more exciting, highlighted by a dramatic clash between Sinners and One Battle After Another, as well as fierce competition between Timothée Chalamet, Leonardo DiCaprio and Michael B. Jordan.

Sinners led nominations with 16 categories, the most in Oscar history, surpassing All About Eve (1950), Titanic (1997) and La La Land (2016). The film also set a record for the most people of color nominated for a single film, with 10 nominees.

At age 30, Timothée Chalamet became the youngest actor to receive three acting nominations since Marlon Brando, and also the youngest to be nominated for both actor and producer in the same year, surpassing Warren Beatty. Wagner Moura became the first Brazilian actor nominated for Best Actor, while Stellan Skarsgård became the first performer nominated for Best Supporting Actor for a non-English international feature film.
