Moon Byul turns up the hype for March 25th solo comeback with stunning new teaser image “REV”

MAMAMOO member Moon Byul is building buzz for his upcoming solo comeback after unveiling a series of teaser images for his third single, “REV,” out March 25 at 6 PM KST.

On March 11, Moon Byul released his second rap image for “REV” via MAMAMOO’s official social media channels. The photo shows the singer wearing a bold red racing suit while holding a steering wheel, creating a dynamic image that highlights the single’s concept of speed.

The image followed her first rap image posted on March 10, which featured Moon Byul in a sleek all-black tech-wear-inspired outfit, paired with leg warmers and smoky makeup. In both photos, she maintains intense eye contact with the camera, displaying what Korean media described as “overwhelming charisma,” according to allkpop.

“REV” means “increase engine rotation speed,” and Moon Byul is leaning fully into a racing concept for this release. His agency, RBW, built comeback momentum by rolling out sequential promotional materials, including a scheduler, lyric spoilers and rap images.

A moving video of the logo released alongside the initial return announcement in early March featured a keychain with the silhouette of a sports car and the sound of a revving engine.

The single marks Moon Byul’s first new music in about four months, following his digital single “SOS”, released in November 2025. “SOS” expresses the emotions of unrequited love through an upbeat rock sound, Star News Korea reported.

Before that, he released his fourth mini-album “laundri” in August 2025. RBW said that “REV” will “provide intense energy” and allow Moon Byul to demonstrate his abilities as a “well-rounded artist” covering vocals, rapping and performance.

Before the single’s release, Moon Byul will hold a special two-day concert titled “Moon Byul CONCERT [MUSEUM: village of eternal glow – Live House]” at Nodeul Island Live House in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on March 21 and 22.

The concert serves as the closing performance of his Asia tour, which visited six cities, including Singapore, Macau, Kaohsiung, Tokyo and Taipei. Meanwhile, MAMAMOO is also preparing a comeback of the entire group in June 2026 to celebrate their 12th anniversary, followed by a world tour, as scheduled. chosun.
