The company stated, “Artist Taemin has established a new home at Galaxy Corporation.” They also promised full support for the singer’s future activities. “We will spare no effort in supporting Taemin so that his artistic abilities can create synergy with our company’s cutting-edge technology,” the agency added.
Taemin originally debuted in 2008 as a member of SHINee, becoming one of K-pop’s leading figures with hit songs like “Replay,” “Ring Ding Dong” and “View.” In addition to group promotions, he has also demonstrated his influence as a solo artist. Taemin launched his solo career in 2014 with his first mini album “ACE”, and has since released a wide range of music that highlights his performance and artistic identity.
The singer recently completed a successful solo world tour. The tour began at Incheon’s Inspire Arena in 2024 and continued in 20 countries, including stops in North America and Europe. Taemin is also expected to make history at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. He will take to the stage on April 11 and 18, becoming the first K-pop male solo artist to perform at the world-famous festival.
