On March 7, a new video titled “Chat while you do it Single’s Hell Makeup for sunburn | Are we getting too close like this…?” was uploaded to Kim Go Eun’s YouTube channel “goni goeun”.
In the video, Kim Go Eun recreated the makeup she wore Singles Hell 5 as you casually chat with viewers about various topics.
During the makeup session, she said many people had asked her if she had undergone facial contouring surgery. “Many people asked me if I had jaw contouring,” he said, referring to speculation about his appearance.
He cleared up the rumors by explaining that his jawline is naturally small due to genetics. “My jaw is originally small genetically. All members of my mother’s family have a similar jaw,” he said.
Kim Go Eun also admitted that the feature was actually a personal insecurity. “That’s why it’s a little tricky for me. The area under the corners of the mouth sinks in a lot and creates a shadow, so I use makeup to enhance it.” he explained. She added that she had previously used highlighter to make the area appear fuller.
She went on to say that some dermatologists had suggested fillers for that part of her face, but she chose not to undergo any surgery. “Some doctors recommended fillers in this area when I visited dermatology clinics, but I decided to simply cover it with makeup instead,” he said. “I never expected people to say I had jaw shaving surgery,” he added.
Kim Go Eun also noted that she has often been told that she has a thin face, but she has heard accusations regarding this “jaw shaving” it was new to her. She explained that the rumors may have started because she had lost a significant amount of weight at the time, which made her face look even thinner.
