THE “Association Cup” special, once dominated by BTS’ V, is making a highly anticipated return Running Man.
The upcoming March 1 broadcast of the SBS variety program will feature the revival of the “Association Cup” episode for the first time in two years. The original special, titled “Tazza: a gambler’s paradise,” left a strong impression after V beat the cast and took all their caramel “activity,” leaving the members determined to seek revenge.
During a recent taping, the cast members reunited once again as official members of the “Association Cup” after receiving a call from them “President of the Association”, Yang Se Chan. Still remembering their crushing defeat at the hands of V, the members vowed to reclaim their pride this time.
From the beginning, the game introduced a new candy acquisition system based on a “Odds 50:50” immediately increasing the tension. A single choice could dramatically shift the balance of power, leading to starkly contrasting reactions among members. Meanwhile, the production team prepared a special gift for Ji Suk Jin, who recently celebrated his 60th birthday. Although he boldly declared that any prize money would be used for the members, the cast reacted with playful indignation upon learning the real reason he received the gift. Despite struggling to earn it, Ji Suk Jin even joked, “Can I use it as collateral?” revealing his instinct as a gambler looking for more caramel.
