On February 7, A published a post on her personal SNS account, revealing that she had undergone the procedure nine hours of police interrogations. He stated, “I clearly denied what wasn’t true and acknowledged the parts where I fell short.” She added that the incident made her think deeply about herself and become more cautious about personal relationships from here on out.
He also called on the public and media to refrain from spreading speculation, stressing that the investigation is still ongoing. “I hope the unverified claims and conjectures stop here,” he wrote.
However, the controversy escalated shortly after when A deleted the original post and uploaded a new image showing the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul, accompanied by the cryptic message: “Nine hours of interrogations. Now it’s your turn. Above all, a man.” The statement appeared to target a specific individual, fueling further speculation online.
A also directly criticized SBS’ investigative programme Unanswered questionscontesting the credibility of the broadcast. He questioned whether the production team had verified the whistleblower’s claims before airing the episode, asking: “Was my life reduced to nothing but gossip?”
He also expressed distress at the impact on his family, saying his son, currently serving in the military, and young daughter had been subjected to undue scrutiny. “A broadcast can destroy not only one person’s life, but the daily existence of an entire family,” he said.
Sensing possible retaliation, A said he asked the production team for an apology but received no response. “If this continues, I will have no choice but to reveal everything, one by one, how it really happened” he said, adding that he would expose people who would file false reports.
A is currently under police investigation for violating medical laws, including administering intravenous injections outside of licensed medical facilities such as offices and vehicles. Celebrities including Park Na Rae, SHINee’s Key, and Kim Mikyung (입짧은햇님) reportedly became involved and later stated that they believed A was a licensed doctor. All three have since suspended their broadcasts and YouTube activities.
Police imposed a travel ban on A and reportedly conducted searches of his residence and vehicle, seizing medical supplies, injection equipment and client data. The investigation remains ongoing.
