Annie, a member of the mixed group AllDay Project and niece of the president of the Shinsegae Group, recently spoke about a frustrating situation after returning to Columbia University. During a “Study With Me” live broadcast on Jan. 24, where she studied alongside fans while working on homework, Annie shared that her school email address had been leaked.
With her laptop open and fully focused on her coursework, she paused to speak candidly: “I know it’s really easy to figure out my school ID,” she began. “But if you send emails to my school address, it becomes really difficult for me to find important messages from professors or the university.”
While acknowledging that messages sent by fans are always kind, he politely asked: “If you want to contact us, please use Day Off (communication app) or other platforms. I can read them there. But please avoid sending messages to my school email, as it interferes with school communications.”
Annie also talked about meeting fans on campus. “If you know my school schedule and you happen to see me, feel free to say hello, I will say hello. But please understand that I may not be in the best condition at that time,” he said. Jokingly, he added, “If you really want to see me, you’ll just have to work hard and get into Columbia University too.”
His openness continued as he offered to share his notes with any fan who successfully entered Columbia, demonstrating his characteristic warmth and connection with fans.
Annie, who is currently majoring in Art History and Visual Arts at the Ivy League school, recently resumed her studies for the spring 2026 semester, which runs through May. His decision to return was made after he reached the limit of his academic leave. She previously revealed: “I was told early last year that I couldn’t extend my leave any longer, so I discussed it with members and the company in advance. I only have one semester left. I worked hard beforehand and earned enough credits – just one more semester and I graduated.”
