Appearing on the January 25 episode of SBS’s My Little Old Boy, Choi Ji-woo opened up about motherhood and her bond with Kim Tae-hee. The actress married a non-celebrity in 2018 and gave birth to her first daughter at age 46 in 2020.
During the broadcast, Choi shared, “I often ask Kim Tae-hee for parenting advice. She’s two years ahead of me in motherhood. We go through academies together, and our daughters even take the same ballet classes.”
She added: “Sometimes he says, ‘Sister, I bought it for my daughter, but it’s too small,’ and he passes things on to me.”
The discussion turned lighthearted when MC Shin Dong-yup commented on the audience’s curiosity around Kim Tae-hee’s children, saying, “If it’s Kim Tae-hee’s daughter, of course she will be beautiful.” The couple, Kim Tae-hee and singer-actor Rain, married in 2017 and have two daughters born in 2017 and 2019.
Speculation about images of their children has been going on since their marriage, even sparking the creation of AI-generated images of “future children” that have attracted praise for their striking features. Last year, Kim Tae-hee herself spoke about her daughters’ appearances on tvN’s You Quiz on the Block, saying, “My first daughter has my eyes, and the rest is like her father. The second daughter has her father’s eyes, and the rest is from me.”
When asked about her daughter’s appearance, Choi Ji-woo joked, “It may take a while for my daughter to achieve her mother’s beauty. Let’s give her a few more years.”
