Former NewJeans member Danielle will host her first live broadcast on Monday at 7 PM KST to address fans following her removal from the group.
The live stream will air on Danielle’s personal YouTube channel and Instagram account, marking her first public communication since ADOR terminated her exclusive contract on December 29, 2025.
Her legal representatives at law firm Hwawoo LLC said the broadcast will allow Danielle to express gratitude to domestic and international supporters, share personal updates and exchange greetings with fans in real time.
The agency stressed that the session is intended solely for direct communication with fans and is not related to ongoing legal proceedings, according to the Herald of Korea. During her time with NewJeans, members only used the group’s official Instagram account, but Danielle created independent channels after her departure. His new Instagram account quickly gained over 240,000 followers as fans anticipated his first solo appearance
ADOR announced Danielle’s removal last month, citing contractual violations including entering into agreements that conflicted with her exclusive contract, engaging in unauthorized activities and actions that damaged the company’s reputation. The agency stated that these issues were not resolved within the indicated time period, leading to the termination of the contract, Star News Korea reported.
ADOR also announced plans to pursue legal liability against one of Danielle’s family members and former CEO Min Hee-jin, who the agency blames for the dispute and delays in the group’s return.
The agency has filed lawsuits seeking about 43.1 billion won ($29.5 million) in fines and damages against Danielle and two others. Danielle has appointed her own legal counsel and is preparing to contest the claims.
The situation follows a protracted dispute between members of NewJeans and ADOR that began when former CEO Min Hee-jin was fired by parent company HYBE. The members initially called for his reinstatement and later claimed that their contracts had been terminated due to an alleged breach of contract. Courts have ruled in favor of ADOR in both injunction and confirmation cases.
While Haerin and Hyein returned to ADOR last month, followed by Hanni, Danielle’s removal leaves NewJeans as a four-member group with Minji’s status still in question. Fans have continued to call for Danielle’s return, but agency statements suggest such a scenario is unlikely, according to the Korea Times.
