Popular YouTuber MrBeast, known for running one of the most subscribed channels on YouTube, has drawn attention to the ongoing controversy involving K‑pop group NewJeans. Over the past few days, MrBeast’s social media has been flooded with comments from international NewJeans fans urging him to step in and “save” member Danielle amid the group’s legal turmoil. Under one post, MrBeast even responded to a fan asking: “What should I do?”
The wave of messages comes after ADOR, NewJeans’ agency, announced it was terminating contracts and filing a lawsuit against Danielle and former CEO Min Hee Jin, seeking damages reportedly up to 43.1 billion won. In response, fans around the world tagged MrBeast with phrases like “Buy HYBE and save NewJeans”, “Take Danielle with you” and using the hashtag #MrBeastSaveNewJeans in the hope that the YouTuber can intervene to help the idol in difficulty.

While MrBeast’s comment sparked excitement and speculation among some fans, it’s unclear whether he intends to follow the trend or whether his response was simply a response to the wave of requests. However, the online movement highlights how global fan communities are leveraging social platforms to draw attention to controversies involving their favorite artists.
