On the January 4 broadcast of JTBC’s Please Take Care of My refrigerator, the 2026 season premiere took place using ingredients from actress Lee Min Jung’s refrigerator, which was filled with goodies.
Lee Min Jung, who is raising a 10-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter, said the person he was most looking forward to his appearance on Please Take Care of My refrigerator was actually his son.
Lee Min Jung explained, “The reason why I decided to appear is actually Ahn Jung Hwan. My family lives in the same neighborhood as Ahn Jung Hwan, but we have never met him even once.”
He continued, “My son Joon Hoo really loves soccer and has been playing soccer for a long time. He sometimes wondered, ‘If we played soccer in the neighborhood, wouldn’t Ahn Jung Hwan come?'” while talking about his son, who is a devoted fan of Ahn Jung Hwan.
Lee Min Jung recalled, “Once, my son and his friends decided to shout loudly for Ahn Jung Hwan. The children shouted, ‘Please come down and kick the ball with us,’ so I told them, ‘Everyone is resting, so be quiet.'”
In response, Ahn Jung Hwan said, “Actually, Lee Byung Hun asked me to sign something for his son. So I signed a soccer ball, but I haven’t been able to deliver it yet.” Lee Min Jung jokingly replied, “If you leave it in the garden on the first floor, we will come and get it.”
Kim Sung Joo then joked, “It seems like you came prepared today,” and Ahn Jung Hwan added, “Yesterday I saw the Please Take Care of My Refrigerator truck for the first time. I saw them picking up the refrigerator. It was the first time I saw it and I thought, ‘This is not a lie.’ They really take it away.”
Meanwhile, Lee Min Jung married actor Lee Byung Hun, who is 12 years her senior, in 2013, and the couple has a son and a daughter.
