K-pop’s original “sexy icon”, IVY, finally addressed persistent rumors that she had been living with actor Song Seung-hun, revealing that the truth behind the headlines was far from what fans imagined.
IVY appeared on the YouTube channel @HamkkeKium (kium2gether) as part of the series Actually, That’s A Good Thing!, where she openly discussed the long-standing speculations that once rocked the Korean entertainment industry.
During the episode, screenshots of old news headlines appeared on the screen, including claims that IVY and Song Seung-hun had “been living together for years.” Even the production team introduced her as “a key figure behind a rumor that shook K-entertainment.”
IVY acknowledged the rumors with a smile before teasing viewers with a twist, saying: “There’s a huge misunderstanding.”
It turned out that Song Seung-hun in question was not the famous actor, but IVY’s rescue dog.
IVY explained that it supported a rescue organization called KDS Rescue through small donations. One day, a photo of a dog with thick, eye-catching eyebrows immediately caught his attention. The dog had already been nicknamed “Song Seung-hun” for his resemblance to the actor, as well as comparisons to Charlie Chaplin and other bold-browed iconic characters.

Although inspired by the actor’s name, IVY revealed that her dog’s full name is actually Park Song Seung-hun, incorporating his own last name. She later adopted him during a particularly cold winter amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
