Alleged Past Connections Between SEVENTEEN Members and Park Na-rae’s “Injection Auntie” Resurface

As South Korea’s entertainment industry continues to grapple with a growing scandal involving illegal medical procedures, past ties between several celebrities and a figure known online as “Injection Auntie” have resurfaced, this time drawing attention to the members of SEVENTEEN.

The controversy first emerged after comedian Park Na-rae was accused of receiving injections and prescription antidepressants from the woman in question. According to Dispatch, the individual was not a licensed medical professional but had previously worked in sales-related roles for plastic surgery clinics and was allegedly operating as a commission sales director.

Most recently, SHINee’s Key went into hiatus after its alleged association with “Injection Auntie” became public, further intensifying scrutiny of the case.

On December 18, the Garo Sero Research Institute shared photos purportedly showing SEVENTEEN’s DK with the woman in what appeared to be backstage, along with people believed to be her family members. Furthermore, it was reported that Jeonghan had previously communicated with her via Telegram, asking what kind of gift his daughter might like.

To further fuel the discussion, the woman herself claimed to have “sponsored” artists under Pledis Entertainment. She said she received hate mail after she posted about receiving a birthday cake from SEVENTEEN, despite insisting that she paid for the meals herself and that the cake was her only gift.

Albums signed by NU’EST were also shared in his posts, with mentions of S.Coups, Dino, Mingyu and later SHINee members Key and Minho. In her writing, she expressed feelings of betrayal towards Pledis Entertainment, claiming that the agency eventually stopped responding to her altogether.

“To think that I have supported and sponsored a company like this for years… my sense of betrayal has reached its peak,” he wrote in one post, also claiming that he had developed stress-related panic disorder.

Despite the resurfaced images and claims, online reactions have largely leaned towards defending the idols involved. Many fans pointed out that any interactions would have occurred more than six years ago, long before the current scandal, and argued that the relationship was limited to legal beauty treatments, not the alleged illegal injections now under investigation.

Comments included:

  • Didn’t Pledis cut ties with her a long time ago?
  • SEVENTEEN fans already knew who he was when his Instagram surfaced.
  • She was known at the time for showing connections, which caused a backlash.

Others, however, have speculated that the situation may not end here. Some netizens believe other celebrities could be implicated if the scandal continues to expand, suggesting the woman may reveal more names if she feels targeted.

At this time, no official statement has been released by Pledis Entertainment or SEVENTEEN regarding the resurfaced claims. With ongoing investigations and heightened public attention, the situation remains highly sensitive and closely monitored.
