BLACKPINK’s Jennie and Dex Join New Variety Show “Manito Club”

BLACKPINK’s Jennie and popular TV personality Dex will appear together in a new variety show titled “Manito Club”, produced by popular PD Kim Tae-ho.

According to MyDaily, the show involves participants secretly giving special gifts to someone without revealing their identity. The first filming took place on December 11, with Jennie and Dex among the cast. Other confirmed participants include Noh Hong-chul and Choo Sung-hoon.

Jennie and Dex had previously worked together on the TEO production “My Name is Gabriel”, a reality program in which participants live as someone else for 72 hours without anyone knowing their true identity. In that show, Jennie lived as Maria in Italy, while Dex lived as Lati. Their previous collaboration with PD Kim Tae-ho has raised expectations about what they will bring to this new program.

Currently, Jennie is on BLACKPINK’s “Deadline” world tour, but will appear on several variety shows during the December break, including “Transit Love 4” and “Manito Club.” Dex is currently starring on tvN’s “I Am Boxer.”

“Manito Club” will air next year.
