Brandi Glanville recovers after severe facial parasitic infection: ‘I didn’t want to live’

American reality star Brandi Glanville, known by The Real Housewives of Beverly Hillsshared a miraculous recovery after suffering from a severe facial parasitic infection that began in 2023. The infection caused extreme facial disfigurement, leaving her desperate and at one point feeling “I didn’t want to live.”

Glanville revealed on Nov. 20 that, after two years of battling the disease, his symptoms have finally improved. While filming a reality show in Morocco in 2023, she says she contracted a parasite that caused facial deformities and strange lumps. She sought help from more than 20 doctors and tried home remedies, including using hair removal cream, which resulted in chemical burns.

Throughout the ordeal, some doctors and insurers dismissed her condition as “inflammation or old fillers,” refusing coverage. Botox specialist Dr Terry Dubrow also suggested the problem could be a reaction to the injected substances, not the parasites.

Eventually, Glanville consulted infectious disease immunologist Dr. Michael R. Scoma, who successfully treated her. Despite high medical bills and debt, Glanville says her recovery has allowed her to return to normal life. She recently moved to a new house and is enjoying a peaceful life.

Glanville, a former model, has also faced personal difficulties, including a divorce from actor Eddie Cibrian following her affair. Now she is raising her two children and has published a memoir, becoming a bestselling author.

Fans and the public expressed relief and admiration for Glanville’s resilience, calling his recovery an inspiring story of overcoming adversity.
