On tvN’s November 12 broadcast Take the block quiz” (Episode 318), Jo Se-ho met Park Mi-sun, who appeared with short hair after chemotherapy. Jo Se-ho looked glum, prompting MC Yoo Jae-suk to jokingly say: “Don’t frown.”
Sincerely, Jo Se-ho addressed Park Mi-sun: “I am truly sorry for the way I acted before. I want to sincerely apologize for attending that event. Afterwards, I felt cautious about meeting you, and this is my chance to think more deeply about breast cancer awareness.”
Park Mi-sun responded with understanding: “You must have been worried.” Jo Se-ho lightened the mood by saying: “Now I can finally smile freely.”
On November 13, Park Mi-sun shared her thoughts through Cube Entertainment: “It was nerve-wracking to be in front of the camera, but I wanted to let everyone who supported me know that I’m fine. Everyone was warm during the shoot and I felt comfortable. I’m grateful that we could talk and laugh instead of dwelling on heavy topics. I will continue to take care of my health and project a positive image in the future.”

The controversy arises from “Love Your W 2025” by W Corea campaign, held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, on October 15. The charity event aimed to promote early detection of breast cancer and raise donations.
However, the event faced severe criticism for its drinking party atmosphere from celebrities, which conflicted with its charitable purpose. The invitation even explicitly labeled it as a “Breast Cancer Party” attracting public reaction.

Questions have also been raised about the charity’s donations. South Korea reportedly raised around KRW 1 billion ($750,000) this year, with celebrities attending without appearance fees and luxury brands providing donations. Over 20 years, total donations are estimated at KRW 1.1 billion ($825,000).
North Korea defended the event, stating: “We have been running a nationwide breast cancer screening bus for three years, screening over 3,000 people. Many donors prefer not to issue receipts.”
