Reflecting on the conclusion of the drama, Yoona said, “I lived as Yeon Ji Young since the end of last year, preparing and turns. A year has already passed and thinking that all those feelings end with only 12 episodes makes me sad and grateful. I am proud of the love that the drama has received, but at the same time, I don’t want to let it go quickly.”
Initially, actor Park Sung Hoon had been chosen as a male protagonist. However, after a great controversy when the explicit contents were loaded on its social media, it resigned and the role was delivered to Lee Chae Min.
This change of casting meant that Yoona would work with a 10-year-old co-protagonist younger than her. Addressing this, he said, “Until now, I have worked mainly with the elderly or peers, but this was the first time I behaved alongside a younger partner. I wondered how we could create a good chemistry.”
He added, “I remembered the support I received from my co-protagonists and I tried to carry on that energy. But honestly, I didn’t need to make much effort. Not only Lee Chae Min, but all the actors naturally embodied their characters so well that everything was united on his own. It seemed that our combined strength had completed the job.”
