A tragic accident ruined what was supposed to be a historical moment for Oasis fans. During the long -awaited meeting concert of the band at the Wembley Stadium on August 3, a male audience member fell fatally from the third level, according to the BBC.
The authorities received a call around 10:19 pm (local time). The rescuers, including paramedics, rushed to the scene, but the man was declared dead on the spot.
Held as part of the Oasis Live-25 TourThis concert marked the emotional meeting of the British band after years of removal between the brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher. Wembley, with an ability of seats of almost 90,000, was full of devoted fans who celebrated the band’s return.
In a sincere statement, Oasis expressed deep pain: “We are shocked and saddened by the tragic news. Our sincere condolences go to the family and friends of the victim.”
