At the end of last year, a serious criminal act, including stalking, was committed against our artist, causing immediate action on our part. We presented a report to the police and the author was arrested in Flagente Delicto, subsequently detained and pursued. At the beginning of this year, the Court sentenced the author to a fine of ₩ 10 million.

Zero tolerance for stalking and harassment

The agency stressed that she would take a strong legal action without clemency against any behavior that threatens the safety of its artists.

Bighit also held an update on his current cause against the controversial YouTube channel Group of groupsaffirming,

As you have seen in the media, the first court of application has established that “Taldeok Camp”, a so -called “Wrecker Cyber”, is responsible for damage equal to ₩ 76 million. “Taldeok Camp” has presented an appeal since then and we are actively responding in the appeal process. We remain committed to ensuring that the “Taldeok camp” is fully responsible for illegal actions committed against our artists.

In this quarter, we continued to collect harmful posts on various national and global platforms based on precious fans and real -time monitoring reports. These platforms include Dcinside (including BTS Gallery and Male Celebrities Gallery), Ilgan Best, Daum Cafes (including the female era and the Jjukbbang coffee), Theqoo, Instiiz and X (previously Twitter). As a result, we have collected substantial evidence regarding harmful places and we formally presented complaints with the police. In addition, we are monitoring harmful places to BTS members who currently meet their military service. We will continue to report and pursue legal action against these contents.

A call to fans

Bighit has warned against unfounded voices, slander, sexual harassment and invasion of privacy, reminding the public that these acts are not only harmful but also punishable pursuant to the law.

Bigit Music is always open to fans’ relationships regarding the violations of the rights of our artists. If you meet harmful places or illegal activities that involve our artists, such as the violation of the IP, report them through the “Website to violate the rights of Hybe artists (Protect.hybecorp.com)”.

This strong position reflects Bighit’s constant commitment to protect its artists as they navigate both global fame and the risks of accompaniment in particular when the members of the BTS continue to serve in the army between the continuous online control.
