SM Entertainment will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a family concert SMTOWN Live 2025 in Seoul on January 11 and 12, with a star-studded lineup of artists from the first to fifth generation K-pop era coming together to showcase the label’s three decades of excellence.

The K-pop giant has consistently produced high-quality, industry-defining music for 30 years.

To give back to the Pink Bloods (SM fans), SM Entertainment has prepared various projects, including remakes of its artists’ covers at the two-day concert, which will be collected into an official album.

“We are (also) preparing a commemorative album focusing on ‘SM music’,” the label said via a press release.

“In this album, SM’s representative hit songs will be reinterpreted by senior and junior artists to match the colors of their respective teams, so you can experience SM’s music in a different style.”

On January 8, RIIZE became the project’s forerunners after releasing their rendition of TVXQ’s R&B hit, “Hug.”

Originally released in 2004, the rookie boy group combined hip sounds, creating a newtro vibe. In this cover, the members of RIIZE showed off their soft and sweet a cappella vocals, captivating both Cassies (TVXQ fans) and BRIIZE (RIIZE fandom) alike.

Before the album’s release, other SM hits will be performed and heard first during the anniversary concert.

Here’s the remake lineup confirmed so far:

  • TVXQ – “Psycho” by Red Velvet
  • Super Junior: “I Pray 4 U” by Shinhwa
  • EXO – “Get It Up!” of HOT
  • Red Velvet – “Run Devil Run” by Girls’ Generation
  • NCT 127 – “You In Vague Memory” by Hyun Jinyoung
  • NCT Dream – “Love Me Right” by EXO
  • WayV – “Juliette” by SHINee
  • aespa – “Rum Pum Pum Pum” by f(x)
  • RIIZE – “Embrace” by TVXQ

More songs will be included on the 30th anniversary album and have yet to be revealed.
