NewJeans donates to Green Umbrella on behalf of the BUNNIES
On December 19, ChildFund Korea, also known as Green Umbrella Children’s Foundationhe announced it Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyein from NewJeans had made a generous donation to support children and teenagers facing difficult circumstances. These young people must care for family members who are unable to do so due to old age, disability or illness. In a touching gesture, the donation was made on behalf of their fan club, BUNNIES, reflecting the group’s appreciation for the unwavering support of their fans.
Members donated an impressive 100 million won (about $68,900) via Green Umbrella. The funds will benefit 30 families across South Korea, addressing essential needs such as living expenses, housing, education and healthcare. Additionally, the donation will contribute to programs that help these children and adolescents achieve independence through career development and employment opportunities, giving them a better and more secure future.
Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyein expressed their thoughts on the donation, saying: “We decided to make this donation to provide essential support for the healthy growth of children and young people who care for their families and to help them become independent. We will continue to show our interest in helping children find and realize their dreams.”
