From New Jeans has released an official statement announcing the termination of exclusive contracts with I LOVE ITthere has been some uncertainty around the group.
In their statement, the group directly attributed this to failure to comply with previously made requests and unresolved issues with the company.
NewJeans officially announces that it will continue operations without HYBE and ADOR
The group has reassured fans that they will be NewJeans even though they can no longer use their real name, and recently even opened a new Instagram account as part of the transition.
The NewJeans also continued their activities, including participation in the Global Music Bank Festival 2024 in Japan on December 14. The group performed many of their hit songs, much to the delight of their fans, who the group later thanked on their Instagram account.

An interaction during the show has since attracted attention online, involving a group currently under the HYBE label.
TXT were formed by GREAT Musicwhich falls within the HYBE label family.
With NewJeans’ departure from ADOR, and thus HYBE, some may have questioned whether interactions between the group and anyone still under the label might have been awkward or avoidant.
However, a clip shared on X shows the two groups interacting on stage, bowing respectfully towards each other as TXT make their way onto the stage.
Many fans of the two groups were excited to see them interact again amid the ongoing issues between NewJeans and ADOR.
