Actress Koo Hye Sun has once again left netizens impressed with his academic achievements.
THE Boys above the flower the actress recently received the 30thth KAIST Literary Award from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, one of the most renowned academic institutions in Korea. The actress shared the news with fans on social media on Dec. 12.
Sharing a photo of the award certificate on his social media, Koo wrote that he received award 30th KAIST Literary Award on Dec. 5, KST, for his essay “My Neighborhood That Wasn’t Poor.” He added that due to “urgent national issues”, he delayed sharing the news and expressing his gratitude for the honor.
The actress also explained the backstory of her essay, which was a tribute to her hometown, Incheon, and the love it has enriched it with.
I remember the bright moments when I was young, growing up in a small village in Incheon and spending more than 10 years with my village community and family, sharing “Love”. This is why even now that I am 40 years old, I have not forgotten the love I felt for my neighbors, who were like family to me at the time, and I have completed an essay that contains my determination not to live my life with a poor heart.

The actress concluded her post by thanking KAIST for the opportunity to share her childhood story with people, bringing a warm perspective of community to the people of the new age.
