In the meantime, his agency remains unreachable.

For soloist Lim Young Woongthe post he shared on his Instagram on December 7, 2024 (KST) could have been a harmless birthday celebration for his dog Siwol.

Happy Birthday, my dear Siwol.

— Lim Young Woong

However, given the current tension in Korea regarding its president Yoon Suk Yeolsome Koreans didn’t like this, who then sent a DM to the soloist and expressed their discontent with his update.

It was the soloist’s alleged response that fueled the criticism. To a DM asking what his intentions were, Lim Young Woong responded curtly and commented that he is not a politician and should not speak openly about the ongoing political unrest.

  • “I should have ignored the DM.”
  • “Wow…do you think the people protesting are politicians?”
  • “What bothered him?”
  • “What-?”
  • “Posting a photo of a dog wasn’t the problem. That’s his answer.”
  • “This is a twist, LOL. I’ve never been able to get tickets to her show, but now… Even if my mother asks me, I won’t do it for her.”
  • “It’s okay that he celebrated his dog’s birthday. It’s okay that I made a post about it. But replying to a DM like that? It’s damn rude. The problem is his attitude.”
  • “Wowza…”
  • “He should have simply chosen not to respond.”
  • “Wow, this is the worst.”
  • “None of the protesters on the street are politicians. What are you babbling about?”

@doll9076: It is true?
