A video titled “Hyori! Sing soon! Mom has now given up” was recently uploaded to the YouTube channel “Life is Nothing Special”.
In the video, Lee Sang-soon’s mother Yoon Jung-hee made an appearance. He confessed: “It would be nice if they had a child, but now that I’m getting older, I’ve given up in my heart.”
He continued: “When I visited their new home recently, it was so spacious and amazing. I thought it would be perfect to raise a child there. I told Hyori that it would be nice if they had a child and she said, “I know.”“
Yoon Jung-hee added: “I gave up, but I’m not sure if they gave up or are still thinking about having one.”
Lee Hyori and Lee Sang-got married soon in 2013 and have been married for 11 years. Although the couple has no children, they have been trying to conceive.
Recently, on the program “Mom, Will You Go On a Trip with Me?” of JTBC, Lee Hyori expressed her desire to have a daughter while watching a baby walk by. He said: “I would love to have a daughter like that.”
However, he added “Now it’s too late. I don’t want to get to the point of trying IVF” while still showing the desire for a child.
This is not the first time Lee Hyori has spoken about her plans for children. She shared on MBC’s “Hangout with Yoo” and TVING’s “Seoul Check-in” that she and Lee Sang-soon were making efforts to conceive. While the couple chose not to pursue IVF, they tried traditional herbal remedies and made lifestyle changes such as cutting back on alcohol and smoking.
The news that Yoon Jung-hee has let go of her hopes for grandchildren has attracted attention, sparking interest in Lee Hyori and Lee Sang-soon’s journey and future plans for their family.
