“My dad just suggested I audition for the experience; he never imagined that it would mean he wouldn’t be able to see me often. Sometimes he says he misses me because of this.”

“It was with his encouragement that I auditioned in Australia, and it turned out to be my calling. I’m so grateful for that.“
His internship days and his motivation
Rosé also spoke about her internship years:
“The company took care of me, which I am very grateful for. Being so far from home, I felt I had to make it. Even when I called my family crying, they said, “Come back anytime—we just wanted you to have the experience.” But I refused, saying I had to debut before returning.”
