SEVENTEEN‘S Dino is going viral for a cheeky interaction with fans.
On November 25th, SEVENTEEN members attended a virtual fan meeting for Chinese store Yizhiyu.
During the fancall, the youngest of the group, Dinostarted a candid conversation with a fan, asking how his day was. He talked about the fan’s workplace, asking if anyone was bothering them in their office.
Immediately after asking the question, a staff member warned Dino not to discuss office-related topics on the call.
While fan calls are a great way for international fans to connect with their favorite idols without going through the usual hassle of in-person fansigns, the calls tend to be carefully monitored by company staff. And more often than not, idols respect staff members’ instructions. But Dino chose not to move.
He completely ignored the staff member’s words and doubled down on his question, reassuring the fan that if anyone at work gave him a hard time, he would give them a hard time.”disappear.”
This interaction went viral X (former Twitter), garnering over half a million views from netizens praising Dino’s decision to not pay attention to the instructions. Many fans were very angry Pledis entertainmentcomplaining that this clip was just a small part of a seemingly growing list of arbitrary topics that fans are not allowed to bring up during fancalls.
