ZEROSE was not mad at Mnet after the program revised ZEROBASONE’s “GOOD SO BAD” stage thumbnail at the 2024 MAMA Awards to omit Ricky from the frame.

On November 27, the topic trended in a community thread, titled “Is it real that Mnet deleted Ricky’s face from the thumbnail?” The author then uploaded a screenshot of a before and after comparison of the previous thumbnail with the modified version.

In the first panel, Ricky was originally in the thumbnail, but in the second panel he was nowhere to be found. The revelation quickly sparked anger among ZEROSE, who attacked Mnet for mistreating Ricky.

One fan said: “I need everyone to see the extent of Ricky’s mistreatment, seriously, how is this allowed? What did they gain from this edit?”

Fans also thought that if Mnet was aiming for a clean thumbnail, they would have eliminated Taerae on the right side as well. Meanwhile, some were neutral towards the cancellation.

Read their comments below:

  • “If they wanted it to look ‘clean’, they would have removed Taerae too. What about deletion?”
  • “If you want to delete it, you should have removed both parts”
  • “I don’t think it was harmful, but from a fan perspective, it’s pretty disconcerting. MAMA is known for constantly changing their miniatures.”

However, it appears that Mnet has opted for the opening thumbnail of the group’s “GOOD SO BAD” performance.
