“When the Phone Rings” tells the story of a secret romance between a couple who, after three years of a politically arranged marriage, become a “showcase couple” following threatening phone calls. Yoo Yeon-seok and Chae Soo-bin’s performances, as well as the new story that mixes emotions, comedy and romance, attracted viewers’ attention.
The drama, which unfolded with dramatic twists, will take a break on December 14 and 20.
A special documentary about Han Kang, the first Korean author to win the Nobel Prize for Literature (working title), will air on December 14. A marathon of episodes 1 through 7 will air on December 20, recapping the first half of the story.
