On November 26th, Sport today reported that Jung Woo-sung’s agency, Artist Company, addressed DM’s allegations, stating:
“Interactions via personal accounts fall under the scope of private life and we cannot confirm these matters.”
The agency has previously maintained a similar stance regarding rumors of Jung’s alleged romantic relationships with non-celebrities, consistently referring to them as “private matters.”
Previously, screenshots of messages allegedly sent from Jung Woo-sung’s verified personal account were leaked online. In one case, Jung reportedly texted a woman, complimenting her work with the comment, “What a beautiful profession.” When the woman expressed confusion, he responded, “I happened to see your posts. You seem to enjoy and excel at your work, so I decided to reach out to you.
Further screenshots showed Jung sending the woman landscape photos taken during his travels and sharing details of his schedule, including his filming activities. He also asked, “Is it okay to exchange numbers?”
The account in question featured Jung’s personal username and blue verification badge, suggesting its authenticity.
This controversy follows the recent revelation that Jung Woo-sung is the father of a child born to model Moon Gabi. The two reportedly met in 2022, with Moon giving birth earlier this year. However, they are not in a romantic relationship, nor have they committed to marriage. Jung pledged to fulfill his responsibilities as the child’s father.
While Jung is known to actively engage with followers through his personal account, he has yet to directly address the authorship news or DM’s recent allegations, maintaining his silence amid the growing controversy.
