On December 18, MBC Drama uploaded a new behind-the-scenes video showing the production process for episodes 5 and 6 of “When the Phone Rings.”
The video showed Yoo Yeon-seok and Chae Soo-bin filming an action scene on the rooftop. The two discussed with the director and presented their opinions regarding the scene during rehearsals and practiced their lines for a perfect shot.
At the time, Yoo Yeon-seok impressed everyone with her manners as she covered Chae Soo-bin, who was wearing a dress that exposed her shoulders and forearms, with a cape. Reacting to Yoo Yeon-seok’s action, Chae Soo-bin said, “He seems like a Confucian who doesn’t like the exposed body.”
On the same day the two actors also filmed the laboratory scene. Chae Soo-bin asked: “How do you feel about having a picnic like this?”. Yoo Yeon-seok laughed and replied, “It feels so refreshing and amazing,” adding that he was looking forward to the three-legged running and rope skipping scenes with confidence.
Meanwhile, “When the Phone Rings” is a romantic thriller about things that happen to a couple in their third year of political marriage after a threatening call. It airs every Friday and Saturday at 9.50pm
