On SBS’ February 17 broadcast “Whenever possible”Yoo Jae Suk and Yoo Yeon Seok were joined by hosts Jung Sang Hoon and Ji Ye Eun for a heartfelt Lunar New Year-themed chat.
During the episode, Yoo Yeon Seok sighed when asked about his vacation plans, saying: “There are a lot of things I will probably hear when I go.” Yoo Jae Suk sympathized, commenting, “You’re just in that strenuous phase of life.”
Yoo Yeon Seok then confessed: “As soon as I arrive they ask me: ‘When are you getting married?’”


The conversation turned to granting allowances to younger relatives. When Yoo Jae Suk asked if Yoo Yeon Seok was at the age where he should be handing out pocket money, the actor admitted, “I have no choice.” He also shared that last time, he gave money to his grandchildren through a mini game inspired by “Whenever possible.”
Yoo Jae Suk scolded him jokingly, saying: “It’s not really a big deal. Just give it to them – why make them play a game about it?” The lighthearted banter continued as Yoo Yeon Seok explained that he used a ping pong setup for the game.


Jung Sang Hoon and Ji Ye Eun later appeared “friends of the gap”. The two joked that they would meet again soon “SNL” and teased Yoo Yeon Seok by asking if he had received a casting offer.
Declaring to be part of the “casting delegation”, Ji Ye Eun turned to Yoo Jae Suk and asked: “What do you think?”
Without hesitation, Yoo Jae Suk replied firmly, “I can’t introduce myself.”
His frank response surprised everyone. Yoo Yeon Seok even expressed admiration, saying: “I should learn to cut it cleanly.”
Yoo Jae Suk explained his reasoning: “It’s better this way. You don’t have to say, ‘I’ll think about it’. Everyone’s busy.”



The veteran entertainer’s direct yet respectful approach once again highlighted his professionalism and decisiveness, qualities that have defined his decades-long career in the Korean entertainment industry.
Elsewhere in the episode, the cast also bonded over their academic histories. Jung Sang Hoon revealed he was expelled, prompting Yoo Jae Suk to joke, “You are my direct report. Expulsions are tracked separately.” Ji Ye Eun, meanwhile, shared that she graduated from Korea National University of Arts after eight years due to repeated absences while holding auditions and part-time jobs.
The episode showcased Yoo Jae Suk’s signature wit, honesty and leadership, once again proving why he remains one of Korea’s most respected MCs.
