YG Entertainment severely criticized by netizens after announcing its artistic plan for 2025

YG entertainment is currently under fire after announcing his plans for next year.

On December 2, YG Entertainment shared a video with Yang Hyun Suk entitled “TREASURE NEWS AND YG 2025 PLAN”. In the video, Yang discussed the idols’ future plans and activities under the label, including TREASUREwhich were specifically present in the title.

During the first 2 minutes of the video, YG discusses TREASURE’s future plans, which include a world tour, new music and a change in leadership.

In the next 20 seconds of the video, multiple artists’ plans are mentioned. MONSTER CHILD AND ACMU they are said to have “a lot of activities”, while WINNER are said to embark on a tour next year.

BLACKPINK is also said to begin a world tour next year, as was previously announced. Yang also says that there are numerous trainees waiting to debut and that 2025 will be a big year for the company.

Many netizens criticized the announcement for not providing specific details about any of the artists besides TREASURE. Many specifically mentioned BABYMONSTER, as the company has already faced tensions over its management of the group.
