In a Candida interview held on August 5 at the Blitzway Entertainment Office in Gangnam, Soul, Kim spoke of his role in the OCC drama recently concluded Bitch x Rich 2where he played the powerful and calculated queen of the Baek Jena high school.
The drama, a psychological thriller that blends elite school policy with youth romanticism, has gained Kim praise for his charismatic portrait. When he was asked how his companions as a red velvet band responded to the show, he said with a laugh, “Everyone said they really had fun. Some even wrote me. Even if I don’t think they looked at everything … they still said he liked!”
Kim is among the numerous members of Red Velvet who have started new chapters with several agencies. As he moved to Blitzway to pursue acting, Wendy joined ascended and Irene and Joy renewed their contracts with sm entericate. Despite the changes, the group maintains a strong link.
“We had many group conversations – on our goals and on the direction that each of us wants to take. I think that the spirit of mutual support has naturally formed between us”. Kim shared.
