MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama “When The Phone Rings” created a buzz with the chemistry between Yoo Yeon-seok and Chae Soo-bin. The new characters, played by Heo Nam-joon and Jang Gyu-ri, brought new energy to the story, while director Park Sang-woo’s meticulous direction and writer Kim Ji-woon’s gripping screenplay, which surpasses the work original, they were highly praised.

Chae Soo-bin, who has earned nicknames like “Baby Rabbit” and “Brave Rabbit,” also chose the sign language communication scene between Sa-eon and Hee-joo as the most memorable. He explained, “Sa-eon didn’t know sign language, but gradually learned it and communicated in their secret way. It must have been nice for Hee-joo to connect with him like that.”
Along with this, the newly revealed photos show the ordinary yet heartwarming daily life of the “Sajoo Couple”. These moments were first shown during a scene where Hee-joo imagines happy moments with Sa-eon. Behind-the-scenes footage of the sixth episode’s picnic and a scene featuring Yoo Yeon-seok carefully monitoring a rescue scene are among the newly shared photos, bringing delight to viewers.
In episodes 9 and 10 that aired last week, Sa-eon and Hee-joo made a firm decision to protect each other, demonstrating an unshakable love. In a shocking twist, Hee-joo, who was kidnapped again, chose to sacrifice herself along with her kidnapper (played by Park Jae-yoon) to protect Sa-eon. While we wonder if Hee-joo will return to Sa-eon’s side, the unwavering and devoted love between them is destined to lead to a dramatic conclusion.
