Weki Meki Member Kim Doyeon Confirms She’s Going to School in London After the Group’s Disbandment
On August 26, she posted several photos on her social media, with a caption that read: “How long has it been since I last went to school?” The photos also show Doyeon enjoying her stay in the UK, holding a sheet of paper full of English notes as she studies in the car.
It appears that Doyeon is currently in London to continue her education. She also added, “It’s been almost two months since I arrived in London! Time flies so fast.”

Kim Doyeon first gained mainstream attention through the 2016 Mnet show “Producing 101”, where her talent and charisma quickly made her a fan favorite. She also debuted with Weki Meki the following year, a group known for their energetic performances and catchy songs. However, on August 8, the group officially disbanded. While Ji Suyeon, Choi Yoojung and Kim Doyeon were in talks to renew their contracts, the other five members—Elly, Sei, Lua, Rina and Lucy—have decided to part ways with their agency, Fantagio, after their contracts expired.
