Fans thought his reaction was understandable.
Recently, a netizen’s video call P1 Harmony‘S Other has gained traction online.
A video shared by user @creepygirl37 on TikTok they discussed their interaction with the idol, first calling him a “weird monster” who thought she and her friends were stalking him. She said the experience confused her for several reasons, including because she didn’t know who she was.
So, I have a story about a weird K-Pop idol who thought me and my friends were following him around, which is crazy because: A, I don’t even know who you are,
and B, what do I look like if I follow a man around?– OP
He says the interaction occurred while the group was on tour in Los Angeles this summer, something he found out after the fact. She explained that she and her friends were at a store waiting to check out when she noticed Keeho and two people presumed to be staff members with him.
After hearing the name she gave the cashier, she says she waited for her friend to check out before going to the store next door.
So we were at the Marc Jacobs Heaven store and we’re waiting to check out, and like, he’s like a dude and like the K-pop dude and I assume like his manager and like a woman. And so, obviously, I’m familiar with K-pop. I’ll get to work with some SHINee. I used to really like K-pop and there are some names I recognize because my friend Priscilla likes this group. So the guy is checking. She’s wearing some kind of Chrome Heart zipper, I think it was black and had rhinestones on it.
The cashier asks him his name to make the digital receipt or something, and he says his name is Keeho, and I remember it very clearly. So that was literally it. After he leaves, I wait for my friend to buy his bracelet because we are in line behind him.

When she and her friends walked in, she said Keeho looked at them, made a funny face, dropped everything he had and ran out of the store. Even though he knew Keeho was probably dealing with people following him, he says he felt his reaction was “weird.”
We walk in and the guy, the K-pop guy, is in there. And he looks at me and my friends, and he makes this funny face and drops everything he has and runs out of the store, literally looking at us like we’re following him. Like, I hope you see it, Mr. Keeho, but we don’t, we don’t care, girls. We don’t care. Like he was just… I started laughing because, I mean, I understand he’s probably being followed by people or whatever. Like, I don’t really care, but that he had such a weird reaction to this, and, like, we weren’t paying attention to him at all.

The clip was posted online, where fans discussed the video and many defended the idol, citing previous experiences with fan stalkers. Some understood his offense, but didn’t blame Keeho for his reaction.
so Keeho should have had a third eye and known which person is a stalker or… if someone showed up at the same store as me and ended up being at my second stop, my first thought is that they’re following me, other than that I don’t he had security with him pic.twitter.com/RMcGntJhGt

sorry but that ab keeho video pissed me off so much like I shouldn’t call him a freak or bring up that story especially since it happened 6 months ago. should he read minds and know that you are not following him? especially when being followed and persecuted is a HUGE… pic.twitter.com/ZeOUyVZaFg

Mind you, piwons stalkers are so bad that there is a 1 hour and 15 minute long video talking about it, but he’s a weird monster for being paranoid https://t.co/16dKg7DZf9

she’s offended and that’s fine, but he’s not weird in assuming that kpop fans aren’t normal and being persecuted is a normal occurrence for an idol. I’m sorry but Keeho is not to blame for his actions idc what you are saying. https://t.co/IpDtOZoS8G
