OUI Entertainment has officially announced that Jang Dae Hyeon by Wei is preparing to join the army by the end of 2024.

On September 1, OUI Entertainment released a statement regarding the WEi member’s enlistment.
“We let you know that WEi member Jang Dae Hyeon is currently preparing to perform his military duty in the second half of 2024.,” it read.
“Consequently, while Jang Dae Hyeon will have no problem participating in WEi’s next programincluding their digital single “I LOVE YOU” fan signing event and their release events in Japan, starting in October, His participation will be limited to predetermined activities,” he continued.
As his enlistment date approaches, the agency noted that Jang Dae Hyeon’s participation in group activities will be limited starting in October.
“We will make a separate announcement regarding the details of Jang Dae Hyeon’s military enlistment at a later date,” the statement read.
