HYBE is currently in the spotlight for its latest documents targeting numerous idols and K-pop groups. Amid the ongoing conflict, SEVENTEEN Seungkwan, who is under PLEDIS Entertainment, personally spoke out on social media.
On October 29, Seungkwan uploaded a lengthy post discussing the current issues under HYBE, the conglomerate that operates several K-pop agencies including PLEDIS.
“I don’t want to see everyone hurt each other. I’ve been keeping my feelings in check, seeing how everything was going and thinking that this would all die down and that I would continue to work with the members at my best,” he began.
The idol continued: “But seeing these events unfold while hopefully the fire goes out, I think such subsidence is no longer possible. Seeing my fans, members and acquaintances suffering has led me to realize that I can no longer remain in silence for my colleagues who are still committed to doing their best work.”
“You have no right to intrude into our narrative,” Seungkwan added, “We artists, we are not your objects.”

Seungkwan also shared in one of his slides a letter from NMIXX Haewon, who conveyed words of support and kindness to the “MAESTRO” singer.
