KLAP Entertainment provided an update on WATERS member Hyesungis serving in the military, revealing that he is currently receiving treatment for mental health issues. The agency shared the news in a statement via the group’s official fan café this morning.
According to the company, Hyesung began his military service as an active duty soldier on November 4. However, not long after joining the training center, it became apparent that completing the program would be difficult for him due to pre-existing conditions, including panic disorder and other mental health issues.
Following this evaluation, Hyesung was admitted to the National Army Hospital in Daejeon just two weeks after his enlistment to undergo detailed medical examinations. It is now focusing on recovery under the leadership of the Military Manpower Administration.
Due to his current condition, Hyesung will not be able to attend the ceremony marking the end of his basic training, initially scheduled for December 10.

Hyesung is currently being treated under the direction of the Military Manpower Administration and therefore will not be able to attend the completion ceremony scheduled for December 10.
