UNIS Gehlee Dangca has sparked unpleasant comments among internet users, who have described the Filipino K-pop idol as “embarrassing” for THIS reason.

After UNIS’ comeback with “CURIOUS” on the 6th of last month, Gehlee Dangca has quickly become a trend on social media for her high-quality visual content.

Her princess-like beauty has been widely praised by K-pop fans, and Korean media also seem to admire the rookie idol, sharing fancams of her performances and videos of her arrival before the music show on social media.

In these videos, the idol shows off her elegance by often walking slowly to capture the moment, and appreciates her fans by taking her sweet time to interact with them. Gehlee is also known for her doll-like “sleepy eyes,” not to mention her blonde hair and model-like height.

However, aside from praise from the K-pop community, Gehlee also received unpleasant comments for her facial expression and gestures, with many online users calling her “awkward” and “pick me.”

On Tiktok, these netizens joined forces to hate the young star, accusing her of faking her aura. Some even called her IVE Jang Wonyoung’s “cheap stupid.”

Gehlee Dangca rose to fame after joining “Universe Ticket,” the same survival audition program that gave birth to her current group UNIS.

But even before she debuted, the idol has already gained attention for her soft, delicate movements and princess-like gestures. As fans delved deeper into her pre-debut days, they discovered that Gehlee wasn’t faking her image and that her eyes have always been like this.
