The original drama, broadcast in 2023, told the story of Cha Jung-Sook, a woman who turned from a 20-year-old housewife into a first year’s resident. His journey – marked by resilience against the harsh realities of life, a domineering husband and his struggle to rediscover his purpose – won a profound agreement with the spectators. The series has become a phenomenon at national level, reaching assessments of 18.5% despite a demanding television panorama.
Now, two years after his ending, the beloved cast returns to lead the new chapter. Uhm Jung-Hwa will once again play Cha Jung-Sook, the resilient wife transformed into a dozen, while Kim Byung-Chul resumes her role as SEO In-Ho, her husband and a head of the Department of Color-Retto Surgery that works in the same hospital. The two actors showed both sincere melodrama and comic chemical carefree in season 1, a dynamic that fans are looking forward to the new updated season again.
Both stars have previously expressed their hopes for a continuation. After the end of the drama, Uhm Jung-Hwa revealed in an interview that was open on the return, saying, “I really want to do the second season.
