Tzuyang spoke about his experience participating in the MBC Entertainment Awards 2025 in a heartfelt video shared on his YouTube channel”Tzuyang out of the garden” on January 11, titled “I’ve Been Starving Since Last Night – MBC Entertainment Awards Review.”
In the video, he detailed behind the scenes of attending the event where he unexpectedly won the Popularity Award. Tzuyang admitted, “I didn’t expect it at all. I only participated because I was nominated for the best couple award, and since Kim Yeon Koung was so popular, I was already grateful to be nominated.”
She became emotional after winning, saying: “My mind went blank the moment I received the award – I felt like I was going to cry.”
Reflecting on her all-black awards dress, Tzuyang said: “I couldn’t just show up looking disheveled as usual.” His staff jokingly responded: “That’s a Grand Prix dress!” whereupon she protested, “What do you mean, Grand Prix level? I chose a modest dress!”
On the day of the ceremony, Tzuyang video called her parents, nervously saying: “This dress is too much. It’s the most revealing I’ve ever worn.”
She confessed that she was so anxious that she couldn’t eat all day: “It’s crazy. I haven’t eaten since last night. I’m so hungry I could pass out, but I’m also so nervous I don’t even feel hungry.”
Tzuyang previously revealed that his weight fluctuates between 44kg and 46kg, raising fans’ concerns about his health during such high-pressure appearances.
Despite the nerves, his appearance and his sincere reaction left a lasting impression on fans, both for his vulnerability and his great victory.
